The JBL Stage3 Gen2 68C are 6.5" (165mm) car component speakers designed to deliver the typical powerful and detailed JBL sound inside the vehicle. Thanks to its 2-way configuration with separate tweeters, this system allows for better frequency distribution and a more precise sound scene than standard factory installed speakers. The woofer uses patented Plus One technology, developed by HARMAN, which increases the surface area of the cone compared to traditional woofers of the same size. This design improves efficiency and allows for deeper and more defined bass reproduction. The cone is also reinforced with 10 percent fiberglass and made with a laser-etched mold that increases the rigidity of the structure and contributes to a more precise sound response. The system includes an edge-driven silk dome tweeter designed to deliver a wider and smoother high frequency response than traditional tweeters. This type of tweeter ensures detailed and natural high frequencies, always maintaining balanced sound even at higher volume levels. With a power of 95W RMS and 760W peak, a sensitivity of 91 dB and a frequency response from 55 Hz to 20 kHz, the Stage3 68C offers dynamic performance and sound balance between bass, mid and treble. The rated impedance of 4 Ohm allows you to efficiently harness the power of your car radio or aftermarket amplifier. The Stage3 Gen2 series also uses more materials, including post-consumer recycled plastics, PVC-free wiring and packaging printed with soy-based inks. Included in the package are two woofers, two 0.75-inch tweeters, crossovers, protective grills, mounting accessories and quick manual for complete installation.
